This Privacy Policy explains how ISG Intelligent Systems Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Owners Association mobile application and related services (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

The App is provided by ISG Intelligent Systems Group. For any privacy questions, contact us at ownersAssoseciation@egisg.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the App. We never collect or store a password, because sign-in is handled entirely through Google or Apple.

a. Account information (via Google or Apple Sign-In)

• Your name and email address as provided by Google or Apple.
• A unique identifier from the sign-in provider (and a Firebase Authentication identifier).
• Your profile photo, if made available by the provider.
• If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive Apple’s private relay address instead of your real email.

b. Content you create in the App

• Associations, properties, and their details that you add.
• Owner invitations you send (including invitee email addresses).
• Accounting entries, expense distributions, and payment records you enter.
• Messages you post to an association’s message board.
• Your preferred language (English or Arabic).

c. Device and technical information

• A push-notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) and your device platform (iOS/Android).
• Basic technical and diagnostic data such as app version, device type, and error logs used to keep the App working and secure.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
• To provide core features: associations, properties, invitations, the message board, accounting, and payment tracking.
• To send push notifications (e.g. new board messages and payment requests).
• To enforce roles and permissions (so owners see only their own property and admins manage their association).
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, debug problems, and comply with legal obligations.
• To communicate with you about service updates or support.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Push notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service) — for example, when a new message or payment request is posted to a board you belong to. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings; core App features will still work.

We share information only as described below:

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and safeguards. We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

6. Visibility to other users

The App is collaborative, so some of your information is visible to other members of the same association based on their role:

• Association admins can see all properties, owners, accounting entries, distributions, payments, and board messages within their association.
• Property owners can see only their own property’s balances and payment history, and the association’s shared board.
• Your name (and photo, if available) and any board messages you post are visible to other members of that association.

7. Payments disclaimer

The App is a record-keeping and tracking tool. It lets admins record expenses and payments and see outstanding balances. The App does not process, transfer, or hold real money, and it is not a payment processor or financial institution. Any actual payment between owners and an association happens outside the App.

8. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process your information on the basis of: performance of a contract (to provide the App), your consent (e.g. push notifications), our legitimate interests (security and improvement), and compliance with legal obligations.

9. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. Content shared within an association (such as board messages or accounting records) may remain visible to that association for its record-keeping.

10. Your rights & account deletion

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

• Or email us at ownersAssoseciation@egisg.com and we will act on your request as required by applicable law.

11. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and server-side authorization. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and the authorities of breaches where required.

12. International data transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

13. Children

The App is intended for users aged 16 and older and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Third-party services

The App relies on Google (Firebase) and Apple for sign-in and notifications. Your use of those sign-in options is also subject to Google’s and Apple’s own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
